Proceeds empower local outreach ministries, support small faith-led businesses, and strengthen community connection through shared values of compassion, integrity, and service.
THE Arn Quakkelaar scholarship
Arn, Founder of BASICS in MKE, spent 15 years bridging the gap between Milwaukee's inner city and suburbs, incubating hundreds of ministries. The MKE Chamber of Faith is honored to offer a $1,000 scholarship for emerging faith-based entrepreneurs and nonprofits. Would you like to nominate someone?

Lance Allan
Longtime sports journalist and anchor from Milwaukee, WI
Lance grew up in Rice Lake, WI, graduated from UW‑Madison in 1992, and brings over 30 years in sports journalism including 28 years in Milwaukee at WTMJ-TV (NBC affiliate). He is a two‑time Wisconsin Sportscaster of the Year (2005, 2012).
Lance has covered major events such as NFL, NBA Finals, Final Four, Ryder Cup, and interviewed legends like Brett Favre at Lambeau Field in front of 66,000 fans (cbs58.com).
About Our Caterer: Diverse Dining
Founded in 2018 by Emerald Williams, Diverse Dining creates transformational experiences that bring people together across cultures and backgrounds through food, conversation, and community. What began as in-person dining events evolved during the pandemic to support minority food entrepreneurs through innovative partnerships and programming.
Today, Diverse Dining operates from the Diverse Dining Market in downtown Milwaukee's East Town neighborhood, where they host local food entrepreneurs daily while providing catering services, corporate training, and both public and private dinner experiences. Their mission remains unchanged: removing barriers and fostering togetherness through meaningful culinary experiences.
